Winter sports are now in full swing which means many of us need to get our mail forwarded to the arena. Besides reading our mail, we use our “free time” before the games and practices at the rink to return emails and phone calls, try to squeeze in a little exercise, and make lists of things to do after the game.
One of the things that repeatedly shows up on the list of things to do is “get skates sharpened”. Well, here is good news for those of us who frequent the Planet Ice Arena in Maple Ridge. A Skate Shop called Think Rink Pro Shop Plus is open in the arena, which means we can get the skates professionally sharpened on the spot, just in case for one reason or another it managed to slip by our “accomplished list.”
