There are many advantages to living on the West Coast, not the least of which is the temperate weather that we enjoy. Averaging only about a week or two of the fluffy white stuff per year means that, while we may get wet, we don’t have to move the precipitation. It flows away all by itself, leaving us time for another great west coast winter past time, Bar-B-Qing! Who among us with relatives in the East, haven’t taken a moment to call them while they are shovelling out from under the latest snowy dump, to let them know that we are firing up the BBQ for dinner. Somehow these calls are notoriously short. All the better however, that way the steaks get grilled to perfection.
